Jordan and Madison had yesterday (President's Day) off work/school so we decided to go and do some fun things as a family. We first went to the Living Planet Aquarium. The kids had a great time. Neither of them would touch the Sea Rays. (Madison told us later that night that she heard about this Alligator Hunter that got killed by a Ray. She was talking about Steve Irwin and so we had to explain that the Ray was scared and that's why he shot his barb out and it pierced his heart which what very rare to happen. I think she will be ok with them next time.) They got to touch starfish and some sea cucumbers. Tanner would only touch the sea cucumber because Madison told him that it was a rock. Katelyn just liked to watch the fish swim around. Afterwards, we had lunch and then we took the kids to Boondocks. It was too cold to go mini-golf so we just got a bunch of tokens and the kids played games. They had a good time. Then we went to Becca's salon and I got my hair cut and colored. Madison even got highlights!!! She thought it was pretty cool. We finished the night by going to dinner with Jordan's mom and dad and Becca. It's always nice when we can do things as a family.
